Guy Woueté’s work Words of Diversity can be found in various locations within Harmonie Park, Koning Albert Park and the Garden of the Provinciehuis. Alluding to protest signs, these performative sculptures are made of four banners. Three of these banners are linked to two grocery shopping carts. The work contains phrases linking to various societal issues. One of the carts contains empty cans, while the other holds (take-away) protest banners. Wouéte employs elements of daily life to examine the lasting effects of systemic injustice, utilising the visual vocabulary of social justice movements and the capitalization of protest demonstrations. His work prompts reflection on park accessibility, economic paradigms, and future possibilities. A performance by the artist takes place on the opening day of Publiek Park, and the work will be activated on Saturdays, September 16 & 23, between 16:00 and 18:00.

Het werk Words of Diversity van Guy Woueté is te vinden op verschillende locaties in het Harmonie Park, Koning Albert Park en de Tuin van het Provinciehuis. Deze performatieve sculpturen, die doen denken aan protestborden, bestaan uit vier plakaten. Drie van deze spandoeken zijn gekoppeld aan twee boodschappen-wagentjes. Het werk bevat zinnen die verwijzen naar verschillende maatschappelijke kwesties. Een van de karretjes bevat lege blikjes, terwijl de andere (meeneem) protestbanners bevat.
