Join the Publiek Park team as an intern!

Publiek Park, a nomadic contemporary art project that takes city parks and gardens as its exhibition grounds, is gearing up for its next edition in the summer of 2025—and we are looking for motivated interns to join us on this journey.

We are looking for someone who:
  • is enthusiastic about art, culture, and public space
  • has a hands-on mentality, a proactive attitude & is eager to learn by doing
  • thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment
  • is dependable, organized, and committed
  • lives in or can easily commute to Brussels
  • speaks English (French or Dutch are a plus)
  • is required to do an internship as part of their studies or can fund their internship through grants like Erasmus+
  • is available one day per week (time period can be discussed)

As an intern, you will:
  • assist the Publiek Park team in developing site-specific art projects, public programme and publication
  • collaborate on several aspects of the project, including liaising with artists and partners, production, research, event coordination, and social media management (the exact tasks will depend on your strengths, experience and interests)
  • work closely with local and international artists
  • have your travel expenses reimbursed

Why join us? Publiek Park offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in initiating and producing projects in collaboration with cultural organizations and municipal partners. Operating as a small non-profit, we will be happy to share our experiences with you, giving you an insight into the ups and downs of self-organizing and equipping you with the skills and knowledge to execute your own projects in the future.

Interested? Send your CV and a short motivation (max 300 words) to info (at) publiekpark (dot) be.

We’d love to hear from you!
